Eric Dane, Rebecca Gayheart welcome baby girl

LOS ANGELES - A spokeswoman for actors Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart says the couple has welcomed their first child, a child girl.

Publicist Nanci Ryder told The Associated Press that the 38-year-old Gayheart gave birth Wednesday in Los Angeles.

They said in an e-mail Thursday that "mother, sister & daughter are doing great." The name of the girl was not immediately known.

The 37-year-old Dane stars on the ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy" & most recently played a Brett Favre-esque retiring quarterback in the movie "Valentine's Day." His wife is best known for roles in television shows that have included Fox shows "90210" & "Vanished."

The couple married in 2004.

She said: "I have a real problem with authority. I have been arrested so plenty of times.

"Airports are the worst - you go through security, you only have two item, two tube & they tell you to put it in a plastic bag. I am like, 'But it is two (expletive) item! A plastic bag is not going to make it any more secure.' "

The 33-year-old Italian actress - who had a strict religious upbringing - believes the problem stems from her youth when he was an "angry child" who despised school.

She added to Britain's Marie Claire magazine: "I was always arguing. Unless someone could report & it made sense to me I could not accept things.

"I think everybody has childhood problems, issues, whatever. I was angry when I was a teenager. I detested school & the Catholic bit was part of that. the suppression & everything being so proper."

Former model Diane struggled to find an outlet for her anger, so focused all her passions on ballet as a way of exorcising her frustrations.

She explained: "I didn't see myself as an academic. I wasn't happy so I loved to be able to express my anxiety or passion or whatever you feel by dancing."

She said: "I'm not speaking to him. Him saying those things is the last thing that is going to get me to speak to him & I have told him that.

The 'Mean Girls' actress has blasted Michael Lohan's claims that he needs to seek help for alleged problems with substance abuse, insisting they only speaks out about her because they is desperate for attention.

"He's nuts. They is somebody who is crying out for help & attention. They is the one who should be in rehab. They has been on & off like this my whole life.

'Growing Pains' actor Andrew Koenig found dead in park

At a press conference in the downtown park where his body was found, police said foul play was not suspected, but would not release a cause of death because the coroner is still inquiring in to.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Vancouver police say "Growing Pains" actor Andrew Koenig has been found dead.

Friends found the body at around midday Thursday in a heavily wooded area about 100 feet (30 meters) from a popular foot path.

The actor's sister, Walter Koenig, said his son "took his own life." Walter Koenig played Pavel Chekov on the original "Star Trek" TV series.

The Venice, New york, native had a recurring role on the 1980s sitcom as Boner, a pal of star Kirk Cameron's character, Mike.

Koenig, 41, was visiting friends in Vancouver when he went missing over a week ago.
