Miley's Got Nothin' To Lose

Young love. Miley Cyrus & her Aussie fella Liam Hemsworth strolled hand in hand in Toluca Lake, California, on Sunday, clearly enjoying each other's company. The young couple met on the set of "The Last Song," & it looks like their romance is far over an on-set flirtation -- though the Disney star has said that she is not going to bring Liam as her date to Sunday's Oscars, where she'll be presenting an award.

Don't worry, there is no trouble in paradise. The four decided that they didn't require their relationship to overshadow Miley's musical & acting achievements at the event. Sounds like an amazingly selfless move on Hemsworth's part!

The cute couple looked happy & carefree despite Cyrus' latest controversy. The teen pop star made headlines yet again with the release of "Nothin' to Lose," Bret Michaels' new country-rock ballad featuring Miley. In the song, which debuted online Thursday, the 17-year-old sings backing vocals as Michaels, 46, laments a bad romance: "We both know better than this/Still they cannot resist/Slowly get undressed." The four then sing together: "Won't you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe."

When asked about the open to doubt lyrics, the Poison frontman told Us Every week, "It's blown out of proportion. As God is my witness, there is nothing I must be defensive about. I am a nice dad. I thought it was a pretty song." They adds that they & Cyrus are mutual fans of each other. "Her first concert ever was Poison. Now I take my kids & they go see her play. It is awesome!"
